2b2t, Minecraft’s oldest anarchy server, allows hacks and cheats to be used–and new players will need to have a good Minecraft hack client if they are to survive. Two popular Minecraft hack clients are Impact and Future. Which one is better?
- Impact Client
Cost: Free
Minecraft Versions Supported: 1.16.5, 1.15.2, 1.14.4, 1.13.2, 1.12.2, 1.12.1, 1.12, and 1.11.2

For many new players on 2b2t, Impact should be enough. The Impact client is free and comes with a large number of features that should give you a significant advantage over players on 2b2t that don’t use hack clients. A key feature of Impact is Baritone, which is a Minecraft pathfinding bot that can be used to automatically navigate 2b2t’s treacherous terrain. Anti-Hunger is also a key feature to enable on 2b2t, as it can be many hours before a new player is able to find food. The Impact client is sponsored by 2b2t.online, meaning that future updates to the client are likely to be compatible with 2b2t. Impact supports Windows, Mac, and Linux and provides both a Windows Installer and generic Java Installer for Mac and Linux users.
- Future Client
Cost: 19.99€ or around $20 USD
Minecraft Versions Supported: 1.14.4, 1.13.2, 1.12.2, 1.8.9

Unlike Impact, the Future client does come at a cost-19.99€ or around $20 USD. This is a one time cost, there is no monthly subscription fee. Do not download a free version of the Future client online, as it is likely to be compromised and can hack your Minecraft account or damage your computer. Many of Future’s features are very similar to Impact but it does contain some interesting and unique features. The Orebfuscator feature can bypass anti X-ray mining plugins to show the actual blocks being hidden by the plugin. Another interesting feature is PortalGodMode, which gives you immunity to damage after going through a portal. Future also has a forum where the community can connect, report bugs, and suggest new features.
- Verdict
Between Impact and Future, I would always recommend new players to use Impact. The two clients are very similar, and the Future client might not be worth the cost if you are not sure you will like playing on Minecraft anarchy servers like 2b2t. However, experienced players with money to spend should consider purchasing the Future client. The Future client has an active community on its forum, and being a paying customer means that your feature requests and bug reports are likely to be taken more seriously by the Future client development team. In contrast, the Impact development team seems to be overwhelmed by the large number of bug reports–which can be found here. It is likely very difficult for your concerns to be heard.
